The CRKT Ignitor Assisted Open Knife provides the perfect combination of safety and functionality. The premium steel used for the blade and the razor sharp edge allow for quick cutting while the Fire Safe mechanism provides superior safety by locking the blade so that it cannot be opened without the use of the safety found at the end of the thumb stud.

This knife boasts a 3.38 inch blade made with 8Cr14MoV steel and the option of a razor edge or the patented Veff serrations, which allow you to cut with much more ease. The frame uses stainless steel liners and layered G10 scales that are designed to aid grip. The Fire Safe pin locks the blade when closed and the OutBurst mechanism allows for instant use when the safety is unlocked.

This knife is light at 3.5 ounces and has an overall length of 7.5 inches, with a 4.25 inch handle. On the T models the blade is coated with non-reflective dark gray titanium nitride, which protects against corrosion and wear and tear.

This knife would not be ideal for you if you are left handed. The safety is designed for right handed opening and is more difficult to open left handed. The CRKT Ignitor, however, is reliable, safe, and easy to use. The grip is solid and the blade opens to a fully locked position with ease and the Fire Safe locking mechanism adds safety to the functionality of this knife.
